Sure, this year’s Super Bowl is a huge deal in B-more, but the rest of the country could easily be talked out of it with promises of love making.
And since we’re asking questions about the Big Game, what percentage of Americans do you think will say God has a hand in deciding the outcome?
Cosmopolitan magazine is reporting today that a recent survey by the condom manufacturer Durex indicates 85 percent of men and 81 percent of women would give up watching the Super Bowl to have sex. So if things at the Super Bowl Party start getting a little dull, look to the girl or guy next to you. They may have something they would like to do with you.
On the other side of the room, another survey by the Public Religion Institute, shows that 27 percent of American are with Ray Lewis. They believe God does indeed determine who wins or loses the Super Bowl.
They say the belief here is that God will reward those faithful with good health and success. So, I guess the logic here is, whichever team has the most true faithful will win? The study doesn’t get into specifics like that, but I certainly want to.
What’s your take on these studies?
