Until this age, you may talk about getting old, worry about getting world, even feel like your getting old, but when this age hits, you believe you ARE old.
For guys, it’s different. We know we’re old as soon as younger people start calling us “Sir.” But ladies don’t accept until they hit age 46. Cue dramatic music (DUH DUH DAH!) According to the Daily Mail, a recent study found:
Women aged 46 are most likely to start talking about ageing ‘extremely’ often.
So-called ‘old talk’, such as ‘I’m too old to wear a bikini’, was more frequent for those at 46 – the age of American actress Halle Berry – than among the over-60s.
The survey, of 1,000 women aged 18 to 87, found ‘fat talk’, such as ‘does my bum look big in this?’, decreased with age.
Researchers at the University of the West of England and Trinity University, Texas, also said those who worried about age were less likely to look after themselves and had a worse quality of life.
