I know I’ve been guilty of oversharing my kids’ exploits, to the point of one of them sitting me down and telling me flat out she never wanted me to mention her on the radio again. Now there’s a web site and a book for parents to call out each other over TMI.
Have you ever been talking with your friends, and they start going on and on about their kids, and the information starts getting a little too deep?
This happened one too many times to Blair Koenig, so she started her own blog devoted to the phenomenon.
STFU, Parents took in over 15,000 submissions of parents giving up TMI, resulting in Koenig writing a book chronicling the best stories.
The site even has a warning label: “Don’t read STFU Parents while eating.”
