Singing is a joyous form of human expression, so when you hear it ring out in an unlikely place, it brings an additional touch of joy to your day.
Here’s some videos of people singing where you wouldn’t expect it, including a gas pump and the International Space Station.
Here’s Commander Chris Hadfield of the International Space Station singing an appropriate song before giving up command. Luckily he personalized the song a bit, because I believe Major Tom dies in space in the original, and that would be kind of heavy for those now on the Space Station, especially after the ammonia leak this weekend.
In Space, no one can hear you scream, but they can hear you sing.
Jay Leno does a bit on the Tonight Show where the guy in the Pumpcast News talks to people getting gas. Here he talks a couple of people into singing, and they turn out to be not bad. (Although this appears to be staged. A little bit.)
Quick quiz: Does her bandana make her a Crip or a Blood?
Answer: Neither. She’s in Burbank. Why are you so racist?
